Its the uncertainty that causes, you would like answers but nobody has them. It must be a bit like taking all your money to the horse races and having to bet it on a horse in each race. You gather as much information as possible to help you with your decision, there are no guarantees. Some will enjoy the excitement others will be unable to watch. The people who come out ahead are usually the ones who back the favorites, Cancer is not much different, 100/1 chances do win sometimes but its very rare.
